Since 1921 LaBour has been manufacturing quality pumps for industrial applications.  Series LVA is designed to the ANSI Standard for chemical process pumps.  Twenty-one sizes – 1 1/2 x 1 x 6 to 10 x 8 x 15.  Flow rates up to 4,000 GPM and pressures to 600 feet.

TFA Series – ANSI standard pumps with triple volute

Triple volute provides three separate flow paths within the casing for the liquid.  The advantage to the design is providing a balanced radial loading of the impeller independent of condition point on the performance curve.  The solution travels a shorter path within the pump — this offers advantages for liquids that are viscous or sheer sensitive.    Triple volute pumps prevent vapor lock and can pump solutions that contain up to 20% entrained vapors.

LPLA/LHLA – Self-Priming chemical process pumps

The original design of the self-primer has only been improved — no check / foot valves are required for priming — the optional suction trap is used to prevent solids from entering the process.  The LPLA share ANSI design bearing housing with the LVA ANSI standard chemical process pumps.  The back pull-out design allows maintenance of bearing and seal assemblies without removal of piping.  The classic predecessors of this pump design have a long history of service life well beyond 25 years.

Taber Vertical Centrifugal Process Pumps

Vertical pumps are usually desirable for pumping of pits or as intank transfer or circulation pumps.  They can also be designed for dry pits or for other space saving reasons. Taber Series pumps are all metal construction.  Materials include ductile iron, 304SS, 316SS, as well as many other nickel alloys combinations. Two basic choices on a vertical pump are the flow capacity (GPM – pressure) and if the pump shaft will require a seal to prevent fumes from escaping from the pit.
